Show your love for animals every time you’re on the road. Through our partnership with the City and County of Honolulu, you can now purchase specialty license plate decals featuring a dog, cat or bird design. Each purchase directly supports the care and programs that help 13,000 pets in need on Oʻahu.

The initial cost is $30.50, and the annual renewal fee is $25. Hawaiian Humane receives $20 from each payment, whether you’re getting your plates for the first time or renewing them each year. When you renew, you can stick with your favorite design or switch it up to show love for a different animal companion.

Getting your Hawaiian Humane license plate decals:

Visit any satellite city hall with your current Certificate of Registration and License Plates. Complete the application form, pay the initial fee and choose your design. When you renew your registration each year at a satellite city hall, you can select a new design if you’d like. (Note: renewals completed at DMV Now kiosks, online or by mail will automatically continue with your current design.)
