Find out with this year’s Pets in Paradise Calendar Photo Contest. Enter your pet’s photo for a chance to win a featured Pet-of-the-Month spot in the 2027 Pets in Paradise Calendar as well as a Hawaiian Humane Society merch goodie bag, professional photoshoot for your pet and more!

The top 5 entries for the dog and cat categories and the top 2 entries for the “other animal” category (birds, bunnies, turtles, etc.) will be our featured pets of the month. Don’t earn the most votes? Don’t worry! The next top 6 vote earners will earn a featured spot on our Pawsome Runner-Up page and all entrants with at least 25 votes will be added to the special collage page. Even if you don’t win, your pet will still have the chance to be featured. 

How to Enter: 

• Submit a high-resolution, landscape photo of your pet, no humans please
• Pay the $30 entry fee, you may enter as many times as you like 
• Your photos may have multiple pets in them, however, only one prize package will be awarded to the winners

Voting: 

• Encourage your friends and family to vote for your pet! For just $1 per vote, they can help make your pet a star while making a tax-deductible donation to Hawaiian Humane Society.

Submissions and voting will open at 8 am HST on Monday, June 1, 2026 and close at 9 pm HST on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. 

Reserve-a-day: 

• You can honor a special gotcha-day or birthday by reserving a day in the 2027 Pets in Paradise Calendar! With a $100 donation, honor a special day, no matter the occasion. You can even honor a friend or a family member by gifting a day to commemorate something special while giving back to vulnerable animals who need it most. When you reserve a day for yourself or gift it to someone, you’ll receive a complimentary copy of the calendar.
