This October, the Hawaiian Humane Society is recognizing National Animal Safety and Protection Month with a panel discussion about the state of animal welfare on Oʻahu and the diverse ways in which the community can work collaboratively to protect animals.
Join us on October 3, 2025 at the beautiful University of Hawaii-West Oahu Academy of Creative Media (91-1001 Farrington Hwy, Kapolei, HI 96707) from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm for a panel discussion from prominent animal welfare advocates and community organizations such as Dr. Kasey Carter, DVM, MS of Pearl’s Veterinary Surgery Center; Leilani Ng of ALOHA KITTY TNR; Rep. Darius Kila, Hawaiʻi State House District 44; Tiffany Kim of FUR-ANGEL FOUNDATION; and Anna Neubauer, MPA, CNP, CAWA of the Hawaiian Humane Society. Enjoy light refreshments while perusing educational tables from Aloha Kitty TNR, Animal Crimestoppers Honolulu, Pōpoki Place Oʻahu Cat Sanctuary and others who are ready to connect with our community to create a space where the human-animal bond can flourish!
