Meet Koa! Koa is a lively, affectionate boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Koa has experience living with a family and has done especially well with children he knows. He’s an active pup who enjoys regular exercise and would benefit from a home that can keep up with his energy and provide him with structure and consistency. He’s also very food-motivated, which can be a great tool for continued training. Koa can be sensitive to loud noises and may feel unsure around unfamiliar people or dogs, sometimes expressing this with barking. Koa would do best with a patient adopter who can help guide him through new experiences and continue building his confidence with positive reinforcement training. He may also do best as the only pet or with careful management around other animals, especially during feeding times.
