Meet Sativa, a sweet and gentle 4-year-old, 46 pound Pit Bull mix who’s ready to bring warmth and love to her next family! Sativa may start off a little shy in new places, but once she feels comfortable, her personality shines: she becomes wiggly, social, and so eager for connection. Volunteers describe her as an easy walker, friendly with people and dogs, and a girl who’s happiest exploring the world at your side. Sativa previously lived in a quiet home, is reported to be potty trained, and enjoys calm companionship. She’s very food-motivated, which makes bonding and training fun and rewarding. She’s also friendly with other dogs and has done wonderfully with gentle, patient handling at the shelter. Sativa can be sensitive to loud noises and would love a home that helps her feel safe when things get a little spooky. (She’d prefer a home without cats).
