Meet Acorn! Acorn is a senior gentleman who has truly mastered the art of taking life easy. He’s mellow, gentle, and happiest when he’s simply near his people. He loves to cuddle, but he’s also perfectly content to stretch his big self out on the floor right next to you. He doesn’t need much — just being close to his person makes him happy. Acorn was incredibly gentle with children and has a soft, easygoing nature that makes him such a special companion. He’s also a great cruiser! Acorn loves riding in the car and would be thrilled to tag along for errands, scenic drives, or wherever you’re headed. When it’s time for a walk, he’s a gentleman on leash — no pulling, no fuss, just a nice, easy stroll. And because Acorn is a senior, he knows when it’s time to slow down. After a while, his legs get tired and he’s ready to stop for a rest. He’s not looking for an all-day adventure — he’s looking for someone who enjoys taking life at his pace. Acorn is potty trained and wonderfully mellow when left home alone. If you need to run errands, he’s perfectly happy to settle down and rest until you return. His only request is that you don’t expect him to enjoy rainy-day potty breaks. He firmly believes that rain is a very good reason to stay cozy inside! Even bath time is a breeze as Acorn stays calm and relaxed during his tub bath. He also has a few tricks to prove that this mellow senior still has plenty of personality. Acorn can sit and shake, and he’s pretty adorable when he does. His name may be Acorn, but there’s nothing small about this boy — he has a big heart, a big presence, and so much love left to give.
