Meet Ice Man, a 10-lb, 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix who came into our care at our Kosasa Family Campus at Ho?opili in July after his family moved away. It was a homecoming of sorts, since Ice Man was first adopted from us as a kitten in 2024. Unlike his Top Gun namesake, this Ice Man isn't one to show off. He prefers to fly under the radar, and the busy shelter kept him grounded in his hide box. So he moved to our Mo?ili?ili Campus as an office foster, where he is learning to trust and finding out the world isn't such a scary place. Now that he has come out of the hangar, he is as cuddly as they come. He greets his favorite people with a happy chirp and asks for pets with very insistent head bunts. When he is truly content, he flops onto his back and kneads air biscuits, which we like to think is his way of taking flight. Most days you'll find him curled up in a lap or squeezed as close as he can get while his office mates work, happily snoozing the day away. Ice Man would do best in a calm home with a patient wingman who lets him set the pace. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Thanks to Kyle's Fund, his adoption fee is waived and he'll go home with goodies to help him settle in. Ice Man is cleared for takeoff and ready to be your favorite copilot.
