I’d like to tell you about a sweet little puppy named Flip.
When Flip was born, he had a couple of birth defects that rapidly became life-threatening. By the time the adorable mixed-breed pup was three months old his health issues were serious and his family decided they could no longer care for him.
That’s when they brought him to the Hawaiian Humane Society.
Our team quickly went to work to save Flip’s life. We found a veterinary surgeon willing to donate his time, but it would still be a costly endeavor.
Fortunately, we were able to cover the cost of Flip’s extensive medical care through a generous fund set up to help special cases like Flip’s. Thanks to Max’s Fund, established in 1998, dozens of dogs each year receive the specialized care they need.
Please, help us ensure Max’s Fund is there for the next animal who needs a little extra help by making your donation to Max’s Fund today.
We are happy to report that Flip came through his surgery with flying colors – in fact that’s him flying across the top of this page! He was recently adopted by a new family and is doing very well. Donations from friends like you made it all possible.
