CARE Curriculum
A FREE humane education curriculum entitled Compassion and Responsibility Education (CARE) for pre-readers through high school students is available for all Oahu’s teachers and youth leaders. These lesson plans align with HCPS III standards. Download the CARE Request form if you are interested in obtaining the free CARE curriculum.
Self-Guided Educational Tour
You and your students are invited to participate in a self-guided shelter tour. Download the Self Guided Tour packet. All requests should be received at least 1 week prior to the tour.
Education Ambassador Corps
Ending animal cruelty begins with education. Help the Society reach youth and the community by joining the Education Ambassador Corps. Ambassadors will lead shelter tours, speak to neighborhood schools and support other education efforts. Contact Bonnie Osaki if you are interested.
