Feral Cat Sterilization Program

The Society's goal is for every cat on Oahu to have a home. To help cats living in colonies, the Society offers free sterilization services.

Eligibility Requirements

  • This program is for cat caretakers who are caring for a colony of stray or feral cats.
  • Owned, domestic cats are not eligible.

How to Register

  • To register for the Feral Cat Sterilization Program, download the Agreement Form provided here. Fill it out and bring it to the Incoming Animals area.

About the Program

  • Cats need to be at least 2 pounds and 8 weeks of age.
  • Sterilization (spay/neuter surgery) will be performed free of charge.
  • Cats must be brought to the Humane Society in humane animal traps, (one cat per trap).
  • All cats in this program must have microchip identification.
