For more information on programs for adults, call the administrator of humane education at 946-2187, ext. 214.

Teacher In-Service Programs: Teachers learn positive ways to teach compassion and respect in these free workshops that support character education and other curricular areas. Teachers are provided with curriculum materials and resources. Workshops can be scheduled at the Humane Society or at school sites at the faculty's convenience.

Preschool Educational Training: Workshops specifically designed for preschool teachers provide training and materials for activities which promote humane values. Also discussed are issues surrounding pets in the classroom. These free workshops can be scheduled at the Humane Society or at school sites.

Custom Presentations: Designed to fit the needs of your group or organization, these presentations will provide public awareness of countless animal issues including responsible pet ownership, humane education, and the connection between animal abuse and human violence.
