for Animals
Donate
your used car to the Hawaiian Humane Society. You may receive a tax deduction
and Hawaii's animals will receive a cash contribution. For more information,
please call the Society's director of development at 946-2187, ext. 221,
or e-mail jhyrne@hawaiianhumane.org.
The Hawaiian Humane Society gratefully accepts cars that are
- in running condition
- have clear Hawaii title
(no lienholders listed)
- are free of unpaid violations
- can be driven to our auction house,
Aloha Auto Auction, in Mapunapuna near the Honolulu International Airport.
- If you think your car is worth $5,000 or more, the IRS requires an appraisal before making your donation.
Donating Your
Car is Fast and Painless!
- Print
out and fill out both copies of the Car Donation Forms.
- Mail or fax one copy to the Hawaiian Humane Society so that we can issue you a receipt.

- Your car may be dropped off Monday through Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.; or
Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Aloha Auto

- Bring your car, donation form, title and most recent registration and safety check to
Aloha Auto Auction. Please do not write on the title. The friendly Auction staff will help you
properly transfer ownership.
- Fill out and tear the 'Notice of Transfer' off the top of your title and send to the DMV.
How to Get to Aloha Auto Auction
From Honolulu: On Nimitz Highway, head toward the airport, turn right on Ahua Street. Follow Ahua Street approximately 3 blocks until you reach Aloha Auto Auction on your right at the intersection of Pukoloa Road and Ahua Street.
From
Ewa: On Nimitz Highway, head toward Waikiki. Turn left
onto Ahua Street. Follow Ahua Street approximately 3 blocks until
you reach Aloha Auto Auction on your right at the intersection
