Foster Care

Hawaiian Humane Society’s foster care program helps to save thousands of orphaned animals, as well as owned animals in which families are in crises. Nearly 150 animals are in foster care at any given time so more providers are always needed. This program can also help students fulfill service learning hours with their families in their own home with parent consent. Parents must attend the training class and students may earn up to 3 hours per day. Contact or 356-2222 for more information.
